The Proclaimers. That’s who I could not remember. I kept wanting to say The Pretenders, but I knew that wasn’t right… “I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" released in 1988. In 1993, it appeared on the soundtrack of “Benny and Joon” and it was then released in America where it really took off. Who among us hasn’t had this song stuck on loop in our head?

I thought it was a story/post/newsletter, but it was a Note. Scattered in a million pieces in a thousand places. Was it an email? Text? A Note/Tweet/Thread? On what platform?
I wish life was simpler and less fragmented. Still, I suppose there is something to be said for the ability to tell an entire story in a Note. It forces brevity and focus.
