I don’t really have much to say about the song, “This is the life” by Amy Macdonald other than it has been stuck in my ear for several months (or a year, I’m not sure) ever since I saw Dominik Dudek and his partner do a cover of it on Instagram.
The tune is challenging on harmonica simply because the chorus is not very melodic. It is a lot of one note stuff, so you have to sorta fake it with breathing, cadence, etc. The lyrics are also a bit rushed and crammed, but once they gel, it gets easier to play the notes. I also threw in a bonus track from the same 2007 album “Mr. Rock ‘n Roll.”
